The 4pets PRO 2 Large measures 54.5 cm wide, 66 cm high and 93.5 cm front to back. Sold mainly in Ireland and the UK.
Check it against your car →| Width | 54.5 cm (21.46 in) |
|---|---|
| Height | 66 cm (25.99 in) |
| Depth (front to back) | 93.5 cm (36.82 in) |
| Weight | 17.9 kg (39 lb) |
To fit with about 2 cm (¾ in) to spare on each measurement (our margin, which you can change in the checker), your boot, trunk or cargo area needs at least:
| Depth at floor | 95.5 cm (37.6 in) |
|---|---|
| Narrowest width | 56.5 cm (22.25 in) |
| Opening height (lowest point) | 68 cm (26.78 in) |
Measure height at the lowest point of the opening, not inside the boot: that is where crates catch.
If your rear seats or tailgate slope into the load space, measure the depth again higher up and add it in the fit checker: it works out the space at this crate's top edge.
Using the 4pets measuring rule (crate at least 7 cm longer and taller than the dog) and the outside dimensions (the inside is a little smaller), it suits a dog up to about 86.5 cm (34.05 in) from nose to base of tail and 59 cm (23.22 in) at the shoulder.
