The Thule Allax XXL Compact measures 75 cm wide, 78 cm high and 95 cm–103 cm front to back. Sold mainly in Ireland and the UK.
Check it against your car →| Width | 75 cm (29.53 in) |
|---|---|
| Height | 78 cm (30.71 in) |
| Depth (front to back) | 95 cm–103 cm (37.41 in–40.56 in), adjustable |
| Boot lip it can sit behind | up to 4 cm |
To fit with about 2 cm (¾ in) to spare on each measurement (our margin, which you can change in the checker), your boot, trunk or cargo area needs at least:
| Depth at floor | 97 cm (38.19 in) with the crate at its shortest setting |
|---|---|
| Narrowest width | 77 cm (30.32 in) |
| Opening height (lowest point) | 80 cm (31.5 in) |
Measure height at the lowest point of the opening, not inside the boot: that is where crates catch.
Thule describes every Allax size as having rounded edges, so it can tuck under rear seats that slope into the boot better than a square box of the same size. Thule's own fit assistant on its product page checks specific car models.
Thule rates the Allax XXL Compact for dogs up to 70 cm (27.55 in) at the shoulder (withers).
